I was born and raised in Africa, where my exposure to and love for a bold and simplistic form of art was cultivated.
Although I love drawing, painting, and printing, I am more drawn to the 3- dimensional arts and as such, my focus is more on sculpting.
My sculptures are made from a variety of materials. I do have an affection for bronze, however for my latest art works; I have decided to also concentrate on incorporating different materials such as resin, glass, and clay.
The world around me, my heritage, and also my new experiences, new cultures, and people, I come into contact with, is a great source of inspiration for me. I have tried to portray the people of Africa, with their rich culture, and uniqueness and quiet strength in some of my works. In addition to this I remain so inspired by the beautiful wildlife and landscapes of Africa. The fragility, and yet the strength of nature has intrigued artists since ancient times and I am no different.
